What’s involved
- Consultation and planning: Initially our team of expert builders determine if the space is suitable for conversion. By considering the height and pitch of the roof, the floor structure, and the access to the space.
- Building regulations: A loft conversion is considered a major home renovation, and therefore it is important to ensure that the project complies with all relevant building regulations. This includes fire safety, insulation, ventilation, and structural considerations.
- Construction: This involves stripping back the existing roof, reinforcing the structure, installing insulation, electrics, and plumbing, and constructing internal walls.
- Finishing touches: When the basic structure is in place , our team starts with plastering, flooring, window installation, and adding staircases and access doors as needed.
